Getting Here
Many of the visitors to Incline Village come via the bay area and Sacramento.  Incline Village is located on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, a scenic 45 minute drive from Reno-Tahoe International airport, 2 hour drive from Sacramento and 3 ½ hour drive from San Francisco.  Incline Village in Lake Tahoe is located at the intersections of Mt Rose Highway (Hwy 431) and Tahoe Blvd (Hwy 28).

On a clear drive from Reno Airport, Incline Village is about a 45 minutes down Highway 267.  In winter months, you must carry tire chains with your and/or drive a 4WD vehicle.

If you're coming from the south, you would likely come up Hwy 395 having past Mammoth Lakes or their neighbor June Lake and Yosemite, and then up Hwy 50 near Spooner Lake and onto scenic Hwy 28 which accesses the east side of the Lake Tahoe to Incline Village, Crystal Bay an Kings Beach.  Driving from the California Coast you might take HWY 50 which runs concurrent with Hwy 89 past Kirkwood, and along the west shore of Lake Tahoe up to Tahoe City, where you would take HWY 28 also called Tahoe Blvd. heading east toward Incline Village Nevada.    Most of the highways accessing and encircling Lake Tahoe are paved two-lane mountain roads.
You can drive around Lake Tahoe which takes about 2 hours with stops in summer. During winter months, the road on Hwy 89 is closed, so you cannot go any further south then Tahoma.
